In an attempt to generate some positivity during these COVID times I accepted the invitation (and challenge) to create and record music for some online contemporary dance classes. The sounds were well-received and some requests came in to make the music available to the public at large.

In celebration of INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY it is dedicated to all my dancer friends, movement educators and closet booty-shakers who have been forced to practice their art in small spaces over the past while.

This is the first volume of work that was built around those classes. A special thanks to Darryl C. Tracy and Johanna Bergfelt for the encouragement and the framework to create upon, as well as to Kenny Pearl and the community at GMD - Great Moving Dancers Toronto (www.gmdtoronto.com) for their constant support.

All music composed, performed, recorded and mixed by Larry Graves (SOCAN). All the music was recorded in my home in April, 2020. I used only the acoustic instruments that I had available to me (various percussion including many different drums, xylophones and Kalimbas, piano and voice).

Thanks to Dream Cymbals, Tamboa Percussion, Dave Deming Sticks, Headhunters Sticks and Creations for the great tools.
